Well, on the political front, there is only one name that monopolizes the political line up of rat bastards. That, no surprise to anyone, is non other than Vladimir Putin. Only Putin could launch a war that no one else in the civilized world supports. Taking power in 2000, VP has managed to navigate the dicy landscape of Russian politics by, in part, eliminating any criticism of he or his regime. TV is the main source of information for most Russians and humor was gradually replaced with apolitical or sanitized jokes that carefully avoid criticizing Mr Putin or his inner circle.
He now is costing thousands of lives of his own soldiers and many more residents of Ukraine in some psychotic vision of uniting the motherland from 30+ years ago.
For that reason, Putin is the unchallenged winner of this months Rat Bastards award in politics.
